What We Do
YEAS-SL intervenes in the fields of environmental protection through the following core activities:
Combat desertification and land degradation
Fight against pollution of air, water, land, and food
Promote reforestation and afforestation
Promote ecotourism
Develop tools for adapting to climate change
Protect the environment and conserve biodiversity
Involve people of all social strata in the protection of ecosystems – through awareness raising and school engagement programs.
Promotion of sustainable waste management system in public schools/places to enhancing a conducive learning atmosphere for school children and entire citizens across Sierra Leone.
